Type reminders the way you speak
Most reminder apps make you pick a date, pick a time, choose a repeat and then type a title. In real life you just say, "kal shaam 5 baje bijli bill."
One line, any of three ways
| What you type | What it understands |
|---|---|
| tomorrow 5pm electricity bill | Tomorrow, 5:00 PM |
| kal shaam 5 baje bijli bill | Tomorrow, 5:00 PM |
| कल शाम 5 बजे बिजली का बिल | Tomorrow, 5:00 PM |
| har somvar subah 8 baje gym | Every Monday, 8:00 AM |
| sawa paanch baje chai | 5:15 (quarter past five) |
| dedh ghante baad call | In one and a half hours |
Words we are teaching it
Subah, dopahar, shaam and raat for parts of the day. Sawa, saade, paune, dedh and dhai for quarter and half hours. Aaj, kal and parso for days, and roz, har hafte and har mahine for repeats.
Built for trust
- You always see a preview. AlertMitra shows what it understood and asks you to confirm. It does not save in silence.
- It is meant to work on your phone, without needing the internet to understand your sentence.
An honest note
We have tested this on hundreds of sentences that we wrote ourselves. Real people type in many more ways, so it will not get everything right at first.
If you find a sentence it should understand, email it to hello@alertmitra.com. We will use it to make the app better.
